Happy 2025!
We're working on a new "How To" video about Ugly Construction Techniques -- and hope to present it in the next couple of weeks. I first learned the term Ugly Construction from the 2 part QST series - The Ugly Weekender by Roger KA7EXM and Wes, W7ZOI [ QST for Aug 1981 -- and June, 1992 ]. The term Ugly Construction was coined by Wes, W7ZOI. I felt it fitting to show these 2 articles in the announcement video.
Note -- I was an ARRL member back then and always photocopied key articles from the periodicals that came by mail -- and then placed them in a binder. Well, I've got 9 binders full of sheets at this point in time. I love to look through them on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Recording audio and gathering images + making video clips should be fun. I hope to do this topic some justice and also tackle some of the myths about it.
